Our hospital client is seeking an Operating Room nurse to staff their Pre-op / PACU unit with 16 beds and 4 Operating Rooms. The unit has cutting edge technology: Radioactive Seed Localization of lesions, Phosphorescent guided surgical procedures, Hidden Scar Center of Excellence for Breast Surgery. This community based hospital has a positive culture that is built on patient, provider and staff experience.
As an operating room (OR) nurse you will provide care for patients before, during and after surgery or surgical procedures. The operating room nurse job description also includes the role of patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant or operating room director with additional training.
